The Vision
A man sits casually on the edge of a stage. His eyes are flattened with a distrust that only true experience can bring. He has crows' feet at the edges of his eyes. But he is young, younger than he looks; younger than he acts. His clothes are of a high quality, but dirty and mismatched. He fidgets nervously, there is obviously something on his mind. I would encourage an actor or a director to apply specific, repeatable, action-based responses to the formal grammatical components of the text.
MAN: I was standing on the beach, you know
… when it happened.
And there was, there was this enormous staring face.
Teeth like mountains.
